The organic olive groves of the Masseria Tenuta Deserto extended over an area of 25 hectares for a total of 1,500 trees, are cultivated only with the use of natural substances, without any use of chemicals such as insecticides, fertilizers, herbicides. The olives are harvested directly from the trees with olive harvesters and nets and are delivered the same day to a plant authorized to process products from companies that operate under organic regime and that provides for milling and oil production within 24 hours.
